The Psychiatrist's Last Stand
article about Second Life, and I think it may be one of the last I read from him. Not because it's bad, but because it's so very good. There comes a time as a regular reader, that you just outgrow a writer. Not because they are worse, but because you've fully assimilated their perspective into your own, and their writing isn't the challenging journey it once was. It's like your kids going to college on their own, or like a student who bests the master. There's no greater honor for a writer.
